I visited Golden Century Fish and Chips last weekend, and it was a great experience. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside — super fresh. The chips were golden, not greasy, and generously portioned. Staff were friendly and efficient even during the busy lunch hour. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. Definitely one of the better fish and chip spots in the area — highly recommended!🤗

I found out today that the Golden Century is under new management. Taking over from the long serving previous owners. The new owners are lovely! And the food, just as good if not somehow better! I made a joke about my two boys picking at my chips and the man serving me instantly opened my chips back up mid packing and said I’ll have to top you up then! Very funny and bubbly man. Looking forward to my next visit! The chips were very crispy for how chunky they were. 10/10!

I often stop here for fish and chips but regularly on a friday because they do an OAP special for £7.50 . This is good value for money , the chips are half a portion which suits me and the fish is a really good size piece of cod , always plenty for me . The staff are pleasant too , so all in all its a good chippy
